Green Hands USA: America Volunteers

One of the Bay Area's premier green lifestyle events, Global Green's Gorgeous and Green Gala has done much to expand the perception of what it means to be truly sustainable without sacrificing style.

Now on its fifth year, the party is sure to be another celebrity-studded event. Last year's Gorgeous and Green Gala featured glam, green-minded guests such as Kate Bosworth, Josie Maran, Mia Maestro, and Salma Hayek (pictured), all of whom partied to benefit Global Green's cause.

To be held at the W Hotel on December 8, the event will feature an eco-fashion show and cocktail party. Honorary hosts include Mayor Gavin Newsom & First Lady Jennifer Siebel Newsom, Matt Petersen, Rosario Dawson, Josie Maran, Angela Lindvall, Billy Zane, Kate Dillon, and Peter Mensah.
